I got Maveric when I was four and have had him for 10 years. He is turning 14 this year, and is the best horse I have ever had the pleasure of working with. He is a Quarter Pony, and has the most personality I have ever seen in a horse. This weekend I will be able to see him, and hopefully ride, for the first time in a while. He lives at my grandparents house, which means that I don't get to see him as often as I would like to.
The snow has prevented me from being able to ride him a lot. Unlike the barn where I take lessons, my grandparent's farm is lacking an indoor ring.
Easter is right around the corner, which makes my pony very happy. His favorite treat in the world is the marshmallow Peeps. They look like this:
If he starts one box/color of Peeps, he will not eat another until that box/color is gone. He is the weirdest, OCD horse ever. He is the craziest, and best horse that I know.
